Timeback is an inbox productivity tool that uses AI to generate email drafts in the user’s tone. The extension works only inside Gmail and processes the content of the email the user is replying to.
2. Data We Collect
Timeback processes:
Email content from the message you are replying to (to create a draft).
Timeback does not collect browsing history, passwords, financial data, authentication information, health information, or any data outside Gmail.
3. How Data Is Used
Email content is used solely to generate a suggested reply.
No data is sold, shared, or used for advertising or unrelated purposes.
4. Data Retention
Timeback does not store email content.
Messages are processed temporarily by the AI system and then deleted automatically.
5. Permissions
To function correctly, Timeback requires:
Access to Gmail pages (to read the email being replied to)
Basic user preferences stored locally (tone, length, UI settings)
Timeback does not access any other websites or data.
6. User Rights
You may:
Disable or remove the extension at any time
Request deletion of any stored preferences
